Congress has been connecting villages with high speed internet

LUDHIANA: Member of Parliament and Congress candidate from Ludhiana constituency Mr. Ravneet Singh Bittu said the congress party has been serious about development of villages, in the wake of development the UPA government has been connecting villages with high speed internet in national Optical Fiber Scheme, so the villages become part of development of the country.

Mr. Bittu was election meetings in village Singhpura, Baranhara, Talwara, Malakpur, Khaira Bet, Nurpur Bet, Rajjowal, Chahar, Kutbe Gujran, Ladhowal, Barewal Dogran, Ladiyan Kalan, Husainpur and Jassian.

Mr. Bittu said once connected with high speed internet the people can easily contact their friends and relatives living abroad. Moreover, children and youth can develop themselves according to the present scenario.

Mr. Bittu further added that the congress has always favored overall development and national Optical Fibre Scheme is part of the development.

Mr. Bittu said the congress has been also establishinh Poly houses in villages under National horticulture Scheme. The Congress has been providing 50 percent subsidy to the farmers for it. Minimum Support Price has been increased in past 10 years and income of farmers has been increased.

Chiding SAD-BJP alliance some years ago the youth of Punjab had earned name and fame in sports though at national and international level, but the youth have fell pray of drugs. Mr. Bittu slammed SAD-BJP leaders for it. He said the SAD-BJP leaders are involved in drug peddling.

Mr. Bittu further added that in past seven years the Mafia gangs have increased that has been decaying Punjab day by day. He said the parliamentary elections are chance for residents of Punjab to get rid of SAD-BJP alliance. The people would announce their verdict on April 30.

Former minister and District Congress (rural) President Malkit Singh Dakha said the SAD-BJP alliance has betrayed people of Punjab. The mafia gangs that have got patronage of the alliance have ruined the real estate business, so the alliance leaders could get properties on cheap rates. He said the Badal family has been becoming rich day by day while the People of Punjab have been suffering. The industry has been moving away to other states and the unemployment has been increasing. The state government has failed to generate chances of employment.
