AAP workers organise "Jharu Chalao Yatra" in Amritsar

AMRITSAR:Intended to clean up the "corrupt system ", the Aam Aadmi party workers today takes out the Jharu Chalao Yatra against the corrupt politicians, criminals & rioters in Parliament.

AAP Party leader and senior lawyer, HS Phoolka was here in city to flag off the jharu chalao yatra.Phoolka,defending the Arvind Kejriwal ' s decision to quit as Delhi chief minister said that" the Special Investigation team (STI) , formed to probe the 1984 anti-sikh riots would continue to work even as Kejriwal has resigned.He added that corruption and drugs are the big issues in this state and needs to be terminated.
Party activists and workers commenced the rally from Ram Bagh garden and culminated at Jallianwala Bagh. During the rally,party workers and supporters raised the slogans in support of Kejriwal and urged the people to come forward to support the party.Activists were seen carrying the banners & posters.
"Under this jharu chalao yatra we intended to exterminate the corruption" said AAP worker Ravinder Sultanwind.Party workers claimed that Kejriwal's resignation is a part of fight against corruption and that Aam Aadmi must support the party for better future.Other AAP workers present during the rally were,Ashok Talwar,Manmeet Kaur, Ashok Sharma,Jagjeet Singh Dhingra,Vijay Mehta and Raman vaid.
