CHANDIGARH :The new edition of “Punjab Fashion Tour” will begin on 7th February, 2015 with a grand fashion show to be held at Chandigarh Golf Club. This was announced today at Chandigarh Press Club.

Designer Lalit Dalmia said, “We have tried to incorporate the rich rituals in our garments. In our weddings the rituals have their own importance. They bind us together. In the ‘Vedic Mantra’ collection our garments are based on those important rituals. Colour story plays an important role. Green colour is the symbol of growth, blue colour binds us together, while red is the colour of happiness.”

Sought after by brides for the past decade for her incredible couture ensembles, Ministry of Design’s Winky Singh teams up with daughter Rashima Singh to present a new, stunning bridal trousseau collection. Winky, originally from Ferozpur, holds an exclusive connection with the woman all over Punjab.

Reflecting the freedom, elegance and dignity of a woman, Ministry of Design’s streamlined, minimal way with the classic Indian wedding ensemble has garnered a league of followers. Every creation is timeless, and absolutely elegant. Each outfit is made to dress the 21st century bride, who is traditional, and yet unafraid to experiment and try new things. Be it with bright, bold hues on a lehenga, unique silhouettes or even an interesting blend of modem and vintage style - it’s all about creating dream ensembles for the biggest day of her life.

Winky Singh’s collection to be showcased on the 7th Feb at the Punjab Fashion Tour will include lace gowns to appliqués, hints of pinks as the touch femininity to elaborate ensembles with reds golds and bold color bridals heavily beaded and swaroskis used in a sophisticated way. This collection is dedicated to all the woman in Chandigarh.
